“Citizenship?” he asked.
She cocked her head to the side and
studied him. Smooth, straight nose with a slight bump on the bridge, eyelashes

Hee, that's funny. "I meant you." That little line made me laugh. :)) Also, anytime I read about eyelashes I think of a certain diner owner. Good luck on your WIP. It sounds delish.
ReplyDeleteHee! I love making people laugh. This story has taken on a definite comedic tone, but I kind of love it a lot. :D Thank you so much for commenting, Laurie! Stay tuned for next week's excerpt!
DeleteThat's cute! Great six!

DeleteLove it! Can't wait to read it!
ReplyDeleteThank you! You can read it anytime, baby! ;)

ReplyDeleteAll a part of my evil plan! Mwahahaha! :D I'm so thrilled you're enjoying these excerpts. This particular story takes place at the border between Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan. That might help to fill in some blanks. ;)
DeleteTangled up in his hair, hmmmmm. Lovely visual sentence.
ReplyDeleteThis is my face: :D Thank you so much for commenting and visiting my blog!
