Hello, my friends! You're all looking lovely today! :D Welcome back to another exciting week of reading and writing and commenting and all that jazz. It seems I'm a bit of a release tramp this month so I'm changing tracks again to share an excerpt from Crossing the Line which will be available in all its glory this week! :)

“How long will you be out of the country?”

If she’d been writing their story, right around this point George would pin his smoldering gaze on her and she’d answer in a breathy voice, ‘Why, you gonna miss me, hot stuff?’ And then he’d smile and tell her it was time for a strip search. And she’d sigh and blush and pretend it was such a chore for him to pat her down in places that so needed to be patted down.

Fantasy George had her pinned to the table before real-life George put a stop to it in the most effective way possible: he pressed a warm palm to her bouncing knee.

“What are you thinking about?” he whispered. 

“Umm. Is this a trick question?”
