Six Sentence Sunday #6!

Hello and happy Sunday! Hope you're all doing well! I got a wonderful response to my excerpt last week so I thought I'd share another six from the same story, Cheapskates in Love. This romantic comedy is now under contract with Turquoise Morning Press, so stay tuned for details on release dates and all that jazz. :D

She found his unusual shyness adorable. With the tip of her index finger she lifted his chin, relishing the prickle of stubble that tickled her sensitive skin. “You’re a cheapskate,” she murmured. “Admit it.”
            He smiled, lowering her foot to the floor. He leaned in until they were nose to nose and whispered, “You first.”
