Weekend Writing Warriors #57!

Hey, hi, hello! I'm not in Texas this weekend. I'm in Florida instead. lol. I'll tell you why (but, really, why the hell not?) after I share another excerpt from Crossing the Line! Ironic how much I've been crossing the line myself lately. ;)

Here's the blurb:
Madison Kelly is an erotic romance author from Canada on her way to her first ever writing conference. Across the border. A trunk full of dirty books and dildos proves enough to amp up her nerves and make her lips flap faster than the maple leaf flag.
But she's not going anywhere until George Petropoulos gives the go-ahead.
The Greek god of a border guard has something other than national security in mind when he detains this particular citizen. He can’t help but be charmed by the juxtaposition between her stammering blushes and the racy books she writes.
A hot and heavy interrogation brings out her inner sex goddess, one that she’s been hiding in the pages of her books, and leaves them both wanting more. But will they be brave enough to cross the line again?

And here's an excerpt, continuing from where we left off:
“Oh, I’m Canadian. It says on my passport.”
He grinned, flashing teeth that were whiter than new-fallen snow. “This is standard procedure, ma’am. I ask the questions, and you give me answers.”
“Gotcha.”
“And I’m Greek, good guess.” Shooting her a wink, he disappeared into his office and returned a moment later without her passport.

Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to visit the other Weekend Writing Warriors!

So yeah, I'm in Florida for a week for March Break. My parents rented a condo right on Daytona Beach and we're soaking in some delicious rays before our return to the Great White North. No one's skin should be this white. I'm practically glowing. I'll be sure to squeeze some time between swimming in the ocean, lounging by the pool, and buying shoes, to make the rounds and comment on all of your fabulous excerpts! Wishing you all a week as spectacular as mine will be! :)
